About this practice
Advanced typing practice is built to push already-fast typists toward their ceiling. The sets use longer, less common words and fold in capital letters and punctuation, so you can't rely purely on familiar low-frequency motions — you have to stay sharp on the Shift key and the awkward reaches too. At this level, small inefficiencies matter: an over-reliance on one finger, a slight pause before capitals, or a habit of glancing down all cap your speed. Use the results and weak-key analysis to hunt those bottlenecks and drill them deliberately. Push your pace until accuracy starts to slip, then ease back to the fastest speed you can keep clean. That edge — right where control meets speed — is exactly where lasting improvement happens.
